I wanted to dedicate a special post to Coco Crisp, who had a 4-for-4 night in Atlanta with 2 (count ‘em, TWO) home runs. I hope this performance gives him the confidence he needs in this lineup. Our pitching is generally strong from starters to closers; our bats are generally strong too, except for Crisp and Lugo (and occasionally, Tek). So to have Coco’s bat heat up would make our lineup pretty lethal from 1 to 9. And with a strong pitching staff and at least 6 bats hot at all times, the Sox will be just fine.
