Well, well, well. Theo has definitely made up for last year’s lack of action at this time. Eric Gagne as the setup man for Papelbon? Totally sick. Throw in Okajima, and no one can touch the Sox bullpen. Now, 10 minutes left for the Jermaine Dye shoe to drop . . .

Let’s not celebrate too soon… the Sox are notorious for trading away future talent for injury-prone former superstars. Dice-K is the only guy in our rotation we can count on not to fall apart down the stretch. With both Schilling and Wakefield potentially done after this year, it would have been nice to have some young depth.
