Of course I'm glad they won, love that - but after '04, driving from NYC on one days notice with my wife, dragging my my kids along, calling out sick and driving up in the middle of the nite, standing at the Beverly Depot in the rain waitin' for an old train full of delirous fans, drinking at the Black Rose at 10am - running up to Gov't Cntr in the nick of time to catch the duck boats in the fog, seeing Pedro and the midget, Manny waving to us (where was he today?) screaming like a mo fo, following them from there ... it was surreal - don't get me wrong ,it's great they won again but somehow the payoff just didn't happen in the same way for me this time around. WTF?
